As part of the “Golden Nature” Initiative, implemented by SYCAC Organization in partnership with the Environment and Peace Team in rural Afrin, women beneficiaries participated in a specialized practical beekeeping training, marking an important step in transforming theoretical knowledge into hands-on field experience.
During the training, participants learned the fundamentals of beehive management and care while gaining practical skills in handling bees according to good beekeeping practices. These competencies will strengthen their ability to manage their beekeeping enterprises effectively and achieve sustainable production.
The training reflects SYCAC Organization’s commitment to promoting women’s economic empowerment by combining practical knowledge and technical skills with the support needed to establish and grow sustainable income-generating businesses. Through this integrated approach, beneficiaries are better equipped to strengthen their livelihoods and build greater self-reliance.
The “Golden Nature” Initiative embodies this vision by investing not only in providing opportunities, but also in building the capacities that enable women to succeed. SYCAC believes that sustainable empowerment begins with knowledge, is reinforced through practice, and ultimately leads to resilient businesses that create lasting positive impact for women, their families, and their communities.
