LANN+ Awareness Session for Children in Afrin

As part of the ongoing awareness sessions delivered under the LANN+ methodology within the Community Resilience Enhancement Project, SYCAC Organization, in collaboration with the Shabab Pro Team, conducted an interactive awareness session for children in Afrin.

Through engaging, play-based activities, children learned the importance of eating balanced meals rich in fruits and vegetables, and how a healthy breakfast provides the energy needed for learning and concentration. They also practiced proper handwashing techniques, learned when handwashing is essential, and developed the ability to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy daily habits.

These sessions are more than simple awareness activities; they represent a meaningful investment in children's knowledge and behaviour. By taking what they learn back to their homes and families, children become active agents of positive change, helping to promote healthier practices within their communities.

This project is funded by BMZ and implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
