As part of the Echoes of Peace Project, SYCAC Organization conducted a Conflict-Sensitive Communication and Constructive Content Creation Training in Idlib, bringing together a group of local content creators to strengthen their capacity to produce responsible digital content that promotes social cohesion.
In today's rapidly evolving digital environment, where information spreads across online platforms within moments, the challenge is no longer simply creating content it is producing content that is credible, responsible, and reflective of community realities, while avoiding misinformation and narratives that may contribute to division. This training was designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to engage more responsibly in the digital space and produce media messages that are both impactful and constructive.
The programme adopted an interactive approach that combined theoretical learning with hands-on practice, enabling participants to develop digital content that adheres to ethical publishing standards, promotes a culture of dialogue, and applies the principles of verification and digital safety. Particular emphasis was placed on creating constructive messages that respond to the needs and realities of local communities.
SYCAC Organization believes that building more cohesive communities begins with empowering local actors through knowledge and practical skills. Content creators play a vital role in shaping public awareness and fostering dialogue and peaceful coexistence. For this reason, SYCAC continues to invest in strengthening their capacities so they can become active contributors to responsible digital communication and sustainable peacebuilding efforts.
